Juban kimono- a traditional shorter length kimono that was worn close to the body

Juban is usually brightly colored and made of silk or cotton (the colors are meant for good luck and to ward off evil spirits) The more colorful and red Juban are usually Early to Pre-Showa period and the white, cream and pick juban are after 1950s to modern era.
the collar is often white and may have many layers of fabric that have been sewn over the collar throughout the years

This particular Juban is cool soft pink ombre. It has a woven river and floral pattern with chrysanthemums, bamboo & Ume blossoms. It has a foldable rayon crepe collar for protecting the kimono from makeup and lotion. Very long sleeves originally meant to be worn under a Furisode kimono,
