Juban is usually brightly colored and made of silk or cotton (the colors are meant for good luck and to ward off evil spirits) The more colorful and red Juban are usually Early to Pre-Showa period and the white, cream and pick juban are after 1950s to modern era.
the collar is often white and may have many layers of fabric that have been sewn over the collar throughout the years

This particular silk Juban is cool soft pink/peach ombre silk. It has a woven ribbon and bouquet/pomander floral design. It has a thin silk crepe collar over a more structured ceremonial collar. Very long sleeves originally meant to be worn under a Furisode kimono,
