50s black cotton skirt / vintage ruffled skirt / Thackery tiered skirt
double layered black cotton skirt with gathered ruffles and attached crinoline
This looks to be an older Edwardian original skirt that has been altered in the 50s or so,...
a red crinoline was attached to the underlying skirt for use as a costume or on stage
side hook and eye closure with hidden snaps
Great vintage condition- some alterations have been made- Presents excellent
a handmade tag during the alteration era was attached (see last photo)
