Juban is usually brightly colored and made of silk or cotton (the colors are meant for good luck and to ward off evil spirits) the collar is often cotton and may have many layers of fabric that have been sewn over the collar throughout the years

THIS particular Nagajuban is made from cotton, cotton/rayon blend. It shows many of the traditional Japanese Motifs including birds, flowers, ocean waves, hills, drum tassels, garden stools, flower carts and more. It has a natural cotton lining and cotton collar that has been layered with a textured crepe floral collar.
